Ferrari had much to celebrate in qualifying as the Italian manufacturer secured the first three spots on the grid for the 2025 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.
Antonio Fuoco (#50) was the fastest driver in the field in bright Friday afternoon sunshine at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. The Italian, making up for his mistake that led to the #50 missing out on Hyperpol in Imola, posted a session-quickest time of 1:59.617. Just 0.347 seconds behind was the #83 machine driven by Robert Kubica, with the second works-entered car in third with a fastest time of 2:00.201.
Peugeot showed proper qualifying pace for the first time as Stoffel Vandoorne put his 9X8 on the second row alongside the #51 Ferrari. The #12 Hertz Team JOTA Cadillac will start the race from row three alongside the #36 Alpine A424.
Both works Porsches entered by Porsche Penske Motorsport ended up outside of the top 10 and will have to take on Saturday’s race from the midfield. Toyota also struggled to find one-lap pace, with their cars only managing 15th and 16th on the grid.
Front-row starts for Lexus and Aston Martin

Pole position in the LMGT3 category went the way of the #78 Akkodis ASP Lexus thanks to a rapid lap by young German Finn Gehrsitz. Eduardo Barrichello’s #10 Aston Martin was a couple of tenths behind and will start the race from P2. Row two is an all-Ford affair as the pair of Proton Competition Mustang LMGT3s registered their best ever FIA WEC qualifying performance with the third- and fourth-fastest times.
