- It is driven on a combination of Nordschleife and Grand Prix track, which is the longest permanent racetrack in the world.
- The race in the “Green Hell” has been held annually since 1970.
- The race is not part of the World Endurance Championship.
- Daniel Keilwitz’s lap record from 2023 is 8:08.006 minutes.
