- The mountainous location in the Ardennes regularly causes unpredictable weather conditions and makes the race particularly challenging.
- The race has been held since 1924 and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2024.
- The race is not part of the World Endurance Championship.
- The lap record in Marco Mapelli’s 24-hour race from 2024 is 2:16.105 minutes.
