- Proton Competition is one of the most successful teams in Barcelona. The team led by Christian and Michael Ried took the most class victories in Barcelona.
- Due to the 2020 pandemic, the planned ELMS race in Barcelona was moved to Le Castellet at short notice. Barcelona did not return to the calendar until 2021.
- Jamie Chadwick made motorsport history in Barcelona 2025. She became the first woman to win an ELMS race overall.
- The ELMS lap record for LMP2 cars was set in 2023 by Vladislav Lomko (COOL Racing) and stands at 1:31.451 minutes.
