First victory for Lamborghini in Spa

Lamborghini wins the 24 hours of Spa 2025.

Mirko Bortolotti, Jordan Pepper, and Luca Engstler achieve Lamborghini’s first victory at the 24 Hours of Spa. With their team, GRT Grasser Racing, the trio triumphs in the 78th running of the world’s largest GT race.

After much bad luck in recent years, the Italian manufacturer has finally broken the deadlock at the 24 Hours of Spa. For the first time, Lamborghini and the Grasser Racing team are on the top step of the podium at the Ardennes classic, joining brands such as Porsche, Ferrari, and Aston Martin on the race’s winners list.

The #63 Lamborghini team took the lead of the endurance race for the first time halfway through the race after the #17 GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG was involved in a collision. The #96 Rutronik Racing Porsche was considered the biggest challenger for the win. The team took the lead at one point but was forced to relinquish it due to a tire puncture.

In the end, Patric Niederhauser crossed the finish line just a few seconds behind the winning #63 Lamborghini, achieving a strong second place with his teammates Sven Müller and Alessio Picariello. Ferrari drivers Alessandro Pier Guidi, Vincent Abril, and Alessio Rovera #51 completed the podium in Spa.

Pole-sitter Marvin Kirchhöfer finished sixth with his McLaren teammates Joseph Loake and Benjamin Goethe.
